DOG provides a safe, stimulating and caring environment for children of varying abilities from aged 2 to 5 years.

We have an integrated service of support for families and carers through close links with Health, Education and Social care and health.

Our Speech and language therapist, Jo Bryson, supports us by provide regular sessions with our children using a range of methods to help children develop good communication skills including the use of the picture exchange communication system (PECS). We also have part-time Speech & Language assistants.

In addition, we offer outreach support, working with children in their own homes as well as having a Play and Learn Library with books, toys and activities to use at home.

During our regular sessions we are fortunate to make us of the specialist facilities at the Prince of Wales Pre-school centre. Including, the hydrotherapy pool, soft play and sensory room. We also do gymnastics and singing.
